Privacy Policy

This is a general privacy notice covering how Marlbridge currently handles personal information. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need a policy for a specific regulatory regime, have it checked before relying on it.

Who we are

Marlbridge is an education platform operated by Learners Academy, based in Pakistan. For any question about this policy or your personal information, write to hello@marlbridge.com.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry through one of our enquiry forms (on the contact, free trial, tutoring and schools pages), we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number, if you provide one
• Your country
• On the schools form only, the name of your school and your role there
• The message you write, which may include the programme, exam board, subject, level and preferred availability you tell us about
• On the free trial form, the subjects you type and the choices you make: exam board, group or one-to-one, the times you prefer, a teacher you asked for, and which kind of page you came from (for example a teacher's profile or a diagnostic). The message is optional there.

If you register for a live workshop, we collect your name, email address, country and whether you are a student, parent or teacher, and use them only to run that workshop: a confirmation email, the joining link, and any change to the session. To stop the same person being registered twice, our server keeps a one-way code made from your email address (not the address itself) until a week after the workshop.

If you choose to receive revision emails, we collect your email address, the qualification and subjects you pick, and your consent. You are only added after you click the link in a confirmation email. The list is held by our email provider, Resend. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all revision emails. The free study tools never require an email address.

The revision planner and the diagnostics work entirely in your browser: your subjects, exam dates, ratings, plans and marks are kept in your browser's storage (see the Cookie Policy) and are not sent to us.

If you use our Report a correction form instead, we collect less: the page you're reporting on, the type of issue, and the description you write. We don't ask for your name, phone number or country on that form, and your email address there is entirely optional – only give it if you'd like a reply.

We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through the website.

Analytics

Our web pages are static. We use Google Analytics (GA4), with Google's consent mode, to understand how visitors use the site. Google's analytics script loads on every page. In the UK and Europe before you choose on the cookie banner, and anywhere if you reject it, Google Analytics sets no cookies, but it still receives measurements without cookies when you use certain features: WhatsApp button clicks, sent enquiry and correction forms, free-trial button clicks and trial-form starts, and practice activity, including whether you marked each question correct and your score on a completed diagnostic. None of these includes your name, email address, phone number or anything you type. Page views are recorded if you accept, or outside the UK and Europe unless you reject, and in that state GA4 also sets cookies and records things like which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive at the site (Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses). The Cookie Policy lists every event. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use session-recording tools. The cookie banner is shown only to visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland; everywhere else, including Pakistan and the Gulf, analytics runs as if you had accepted, based on the country Cloudflare associates with your connection (not stored). You can change your analytics choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics on every page: a script that measures page-load speed and page views and reports them to us as aggregated statistics. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or local storage, and it runs regardless of your analytics choice. Every enquiry form (contact, trial, tutoring and schools) and the corrections form also use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter out automated spam submissions, which runs regardless of your analytics choices. Our typefaces are self-hosted on marlbridge.com, so loading them doesn't cause a request to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Spam protection and rate limiting

When you submit an enquiry or correction form, our server sends the Cloudflare Turnstile result from the form, together with your IP address, to Cloudflare to check that the submission is not automated. We also use your IP address to limit how often a form can be sent: it forms part of a counter key held in Cloudflare's storage for up to one hour, which allows up to five submissions from one IP address in each clock hour. Your IP address is not included in the email we receive.

How your submission reaches us

Enquiry and correction forms are delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, which processes the content of your submission in order to send it to Marlbridge's inbox. Where you give an email address, it is set as the reply-to address so that we can answer you directly. When you send the free trial form, Resend also sends one confirmation email to the address you gave, restating what you asked for; nothing else is sent to you automatically.

How we use it

We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry – to understand what you or your learner needs and to get back to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Enquiries involving a minor

Many of our learners are under 18. Where an enquiry concerns a minor, we expect it to be submitted by, or with the knowledge of, a parent or guardian. Please don't include more information about a minor than is needed to respond to your enquiry.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up, and delete or anonymise it once it's no longer needed for that purpose.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@marlbridge.com. We will respond directly.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle personal information changes materially – for example, if we start using a CRM tool or change our analytics provider – we will update this page and the date above.
