This program is taught by Marlbridge today.

Marlbridge teaches AS and A Level to students typically aged 16–18, for AQA, Cambridge, OCR, OxfordAQA and Pearson Edexcel — 18 subjects, including the sciences, mathematics, economics, business, law and the humanities.

How lessons run

Group classes run 45 to 50 minutes, three times a week, per subject, with a maximum of 15 students. One-to-one classes run for an hour, as often as you want them. Teaching is in person at the academy in Pakistan and live online everywhere else, with lesson times agreed in your own time zone.

AS and A2

AS and full A Level are taught as the same programme, tracked by stage: material published on this site is tagged AS or A2 so a student sitting AS this year can tell which topics are in their series and which belong to the second year.

Is the trial one-to-one or in a group?

The free trial runs in whichever format you are considering: a real group class, or an individual one-to-one class. If you are considering group tuition, the trial is a real group class – same length and same teacher as the classes that follow. If you are considering one-to-one tuition, the trial is an individual class with the teacher.

How large are group classes?

Group classes hold a maximum of 15 students. 45 to 50 minutes per class, 3 classes a week, per subject.

Can I be taught online?

Yes. Marlbridge teaches in person in Pakistan and online everywhere else, with lesson times agreed in your own time zone.

When do I start paying?

Fees are billed monthly, starting once your free trial class has taken place. There is no separate registration or enrolment fee — the tuition fee is the only cost.

What if I need to stop?

You can cancel or pause at any time. The month you've already paid for isn't refunded, but you won't be billed again once you cancel.

Group or one-to-one

Two ways to be taught, priced differently.

Group classes are charged per subject, per month. One-to-one classes are charged per class. They are not the same rate expressed two ways — choose the row that matches how you want to be taught.

  • Small-group tuition

    Class format
    45 to 50 minutes per class, 3 classes a week, per subject.
    Class size
    A maximum of 15 students per class.
    How fees are charged
    Charged per subject, per month.
    Discounts
    A 20% discount applies for 3 or more subjects, at either level (IGCSE and A Level subjects count together), and 10% off each enrolled sibling's own fees. Both apply to group classes only, and combine if you qualify for both.
    Free trial
    If you are considering group tuition, the trial is a real group class – same length and same teacher as the classes that follow.

  • One-to-one tuition

    Class format
    1 hour per class. How many classes you take is up to you.
    Class size
    One teacher, one student.
    How fees are charged
    Charged per class, not per month — a different basis from group tuition.
    Discounts
    The multi-subject and sibling discounts do not apply to one-to-one classes.
    Free trial
    If you are considering one-to-one tuition, the trial is an individual class with the teacher.

    A short form: the subject you need, how to reach you and your country. If the exam board or the times that suit you are not decided yet, say so — we will help you work it out.

    We reply to WhatsApp messages within an hour, between 8am and 11pm Pakistan time every day, and to email enquiries the same day.

  3. We confirm a teacher and a time

    We match you with the specialist for your subject and level, agree a time in your own time zone, and send the joining details.

  4. You attend the free class

    The first trial class is free. The free trial runs in whichever format you are considering: a real group class, or an individual one-to-one class.

  5. You decide

    There is no obligation to continue. Fees are billed monthly, starting once your free trial class has taken place.
