AQA A-level Economics (7136)
Marlbridge's summary of the course
AQA A-level Economics is split into a microeconomics-focused section and a macroeconomics-focused section, while recognising the two are not entirely distinct areas of study.
The board's own description is on the official AQA syllabus page.
For first teaching from September 2015; this is an evergreen specification (no separate yearly syllabus editions), and AQA's own key-dates page confirms live exam dates for the June 2027 series (Paper 1: 10 May 2027, Paper 2: 17 May 2027, Paper 3: 7 June 2027), so it remains the current, genuine specification for that series. Two subject-content sections: individuals, firms, markets and market failure (microeconomics); and the national and international economy (macroeconomics).
