The qualification

Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level Economics (YEC11 / XEC11)

Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level Economics develops learners' understanding of markets, macroeconomic performance, business behaviour and the global economy through a modular four-unit structure. — Pearson Edexcel, official syllabus page

Issue 2, June 2018, first teaching September 2018, first external assessment 2019 -- confirmed still the current, unreplaced specification on Pearson's own qualification page. This is an evergreen linear specification with no year-versioned re-issue, so it continues to serve every future exam series (including 2027) until Pearson publishes a successor; there is no separate "2027 syllabus" to confirm or deny. Modular qualification: International AS (units WEC11, WEC12, code XEC11) covering Markets in action and Macroeconomic performance and policy; full International A Level (units WEC11-WEC14, code YEC11) adds Business behaviour and Developments in the global economy.

Specifications change between examination series. Always confirm the current syllabus and assessment structure on the Pearson Edexcel syllabus page for your examination year.
