Source: official OCR specification, verified 2026-08-28. Directly confirmed against OCR's own live A Level Mathematics A (H240) "Specification at a glance" page (2026-08-28). Component 01 "Pure mathematics", Component 02 "Pure mathematics and statistics" (~50 pure/~50 statistics, some questions on a pre-release data set) and Component 03 "Pure mathematics and mechanics" (~50 pure/~50 mechanics) are each 100 marks, 2 hours, printed as "33⅓%" weighting. Students must take all three components. Weightings recorded as 33.33/33.33/33.34 so the typed total sums to exactly 100%.
