The qualification
OxfordAQA International AS and A-level Computer Science (9645)
Through a practical approach that balances traditional and modern computing methodologies with programming and creativity, our International AS/A-level Computer Science course develops the skills needed for the future. — OxfordAQA, official syllabus page
A modular qualification spanning procedural and object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, computer organisation and architecture, theory of computation, networking and cyber security, databases and artificial intelligence, across two AS papers (an on-screen programming exam and a written paper, each 50% of AS/20% of A-level) and two further A2 papers. This is a recently revised specification: first teaching September 2024, first International AS exams May/June 2025, first International A-level exams May/June 2026.
