This International GCSE Computer Science specification is a motivating, hands-on course designed to enable you to teach computing as a real science, one in which practical application of skills is at the heart of your classroom.

The board's own description is on the official OxfordAQA syllabus page.

Covers algorithms, programming, data representation, computer systems, networks, cyber security, relational databases and SQL, and web page design, across two linear papers: an on-screen programming paper set against a pre-released skeleton program (available in C#, Python or Visual Basic) and a written paper on concepts and principles, each worth 50%. No coursework. First teaching September 2017, first examined May/June 2019.
