O Level tuition in Lahore: online or in person?

Families in Lahore can choose classes at the academy or live online with the same teachers; families elsewhere in Pakistan learn online. How the two compare, and how to decide.

Most O Level students in Pakistan sit Cambridge O Level in the June or November series, often in several subjects at once, and many families look for extra help in one or two of them. In Lahore the first question is often practical: should the classes be at an academy, or online at home? At Marlbridge the answer can be either, with the same teachers.

The two options

In person, in Lahore. Classes are taught at the Learners Academy campus, Commercial 17/18, Block B, Al-Kabir Town, Lahore. Marlbridge is the international branch of Learners Academy.

Live online, anywhere in Pakistan. Students in Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad or elsewhere join the same teachers live online. Online classes are live, not recorded, and are priced the same as classes at the academy.

Class times for both are agreed with you before the first class.

How they compare

At the academy Live online
Teachers Same subject teachers Same subject teachers
Fees Same fee Same fee
Travel Needed, within Lahore None
Works for Students who focus better away from home Students outside Lahore, or with long journeys

Neither format changes what is taught: every class follows the official Cambridge syllabus for the subject, and the course pages on this site list every topic.

Which subjects

Marlbridge teaches Cambridge O Level in subjects including Mathematics 4024, Physics 5054, Chemistry 5070, Biology 5090, English Language 1123, Islamiyat 2058, Pakistan Studies 2059 and Urdu 3247 and 3248, as well as Computer Science, Economics, Business, Commerce, Statistics, Environmental Management and World History. The Pakistan page lists every subject with a link to its course page.

Marlbridge does not teach Matriculation, Federal Board (FBISE) or provincial-board examinations.

Group or one-to-one

Both formats come as group classes (charged per subject per month) or one-to-one classes (charged per class). The Pakistan page shows both fees in rupees, and the discounts for three or more subjects and for siblings. Our guide to group classes or one-to-one tuition explains which suits which student.

How to decide

  1. Distance. If the academy is a long journey, online saves that time every week for the same teacher and fee.
  2. Focus. Some students work better in a classroom away from home; others are fine at a desk with a laptop. You know your child.
  3. Subjects. If your child needs help in a subject the school teaches differently, ask for that subject’s teacher in the trial, whichever format you choose.
  4. Try it. The free trial class runs in the format you are considering. If you are unsure between O Level and IGCSE for a subject, our guide IGCSE or O Level may help first.

You can message us on WhatsApp or use the trial form; tell us whether you prefer the academy or online, and we will confirm a teacher and a time.
