Where the teaching happens, and what is not taught
Marlbridge has no office, centre or teacher based in the UK. Every class is taught live online by a named subject teacher from our academy in Lahore, Pakistan. Marlbridge does not teach Scottish Nationals or Highers, WJEC or Eduqas, CCEA, BTEC or T Levels. Families in other countries: see international online tutoring.

Time zones
All Marlbridge teaching is delivered live from Pakistan (UTC+5). The UK is on GMT (UTC+0) in winter and British Summer Time (UTC+1) from late March to late October — four to five hours behind. A 4:30 pm after-school slot in London is therefore 8:30 or 9:30 pm in Lahore. Teachers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so classes can be arranged at a time that suits your time zone. The exact class time is agreed with the teacher before the first class.

Group classes are priced per subject, per month; one-to-one classes per class. The group rates are set for the UK. The one-to-one figures are a currency conversion of the Pakistan one-to-one rate (see the note below), not a separately published UK price. Only the Pakistan and US dollar rates above were directly set by Marlbridge. The other regions are indicative currency conversions of the Pakistan rate (exchange rates from exchangerate-api.com: dated 2026-08-22 for the Gulf, UK and Europe rows, and 2026-09-23 for Malaysia). They are not independently published regional rates, are refreshed as exchange rates move, and the exact fee is confirmed in writing before any payment. The first trial class is free. Do you teach GCSE, or only IGCSE?
Both. Marlbridge teaches AQA and OCR GCSE (15 taught subject combinations) as well as Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, and AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge at A Level. Each subject page names the exact specification code it is taught against.
How do the class times work with the UK time difference?
Pakistan is four hours ahead of the UK in British Summer Time and five hours ahead in winter. Teachers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so classes can be arranged at a time that suits your time zone. The exact time is confirmed with the teacher before the first class.
What does it cost from the UK?
60 GBP per subject per month for a GCSE, IGCSE or O Level group class and 75 GBP at AS/A Level; one-to-one classes are 9–11 GBP per class. The group rates are set for the UK; the one-to-one rates are currency conversions of the Pakistan one-to-one rate, not a separately set UK price. The first class is free.
Is there a UK centre I can visit?
No. Marlbridge has no office or teaching centre in the UK. UK students are taught live online; the only in-person teaching is at the academy in Lahore, Pakistan.

Can I use the free resources without enrolling?
Yes. The revision notes, syllabus checklists and practice questions are free for any student, whether or not they take classes with Marlbridge.
