Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level English Literature (YET01)

Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level English Literature develops learners’ skills of literary analysis, interpretation and independent judgement across poetry, prose and drama from different periods. — Pearson Edexcel, official syllabus page

For first teaching 2015, assessed across units WET01-WET04. International Advanced Subsidiary = Unit 1 (Post-2000 Poetry and Prose) and Unit 2 (Drama); the full International Advanced Level adds Unit 3 (Poetry and Prose) and Unit 4 (Shakespeare and Pre-1900 Poetry).

Unit 1 (Post-2000 Poetry and Prose): two sections, 25 marks each. Unit 2 (Drama): two sections, 25 marks each. Unit 3 (Poetry and Prose): a 20-mark section and a 30-mark section. Unit 4 (Shakespeare and Pre-1900 Poetry): two sections, 25 marks each.
