The Edexcel International Advanced Level Law syllabus develops students' knowledge and understanding of legal rules, institutions and principles across different branches of law, using English law terminology relevant to international customers.

The board's own description is on the official Pearson Edexcel syllabus page.

Not split into separate IAS/IAL stages — two compulsory papers (Paper 1 YLA1/01, Paper 2 YLA1/02) both taken in the same series, each 50% of the total qualification. Specification Issue 4, November 2021.
