Questions
Which exam boards does Marlbridge teach Chemistry for?
Cambridge International Education, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, OCR, OxfordAQA and the International Baccalaureate (IB) — at O Level (Cambridge only), IGCSE (Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA), GCSE (AQA and OCR), A Level (all five of those boards) and IB Diploma Programme (DP Chemistry). Study material is published for each of these, with the most so far for Cambridge.
Does Marlbridge teach O Level Chemistry?
Yes. Marlbridge teaches Cambridge O Level Chemistry (syllabus 5070) and publishes free study material for it. O Level Chemistry is offered by Cambridge only — no other board in the Marlbridge offering runs an O Level.
Does Marlbridge teach IGCSE Chemistry?
Yes, across three boards: Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry (syllabus 0620), Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Chemistry (syllabus 4CH1), and OxfordAQA International GCSE Chemistry (syllabus 9202). Marlbridge publishes free study material for all three, with the most so far for Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry.
Does Marlbridge teach A Level Chemistry?
Yes, across five boards: Cambridge International AS & A Level Chemistry (syllabus 9701), Pearson Edexcel International A Level Chemistry (syllabus YCH11), AQA A-level Chemistry (syllabus 7405), OCR A Level Chemistry (syllabus H432), and OxfordAQA International A-level Chemistry (syllabus 9620). Marlbridge publishes free study material for all five, with the most so far for Cambridge's 9701.
Does Marlbridge teach GCSE Chemistry?
Yes, at two boards: AQA GCSE Chemistry (syllabus 8462) and OCR GCSE Chemistry (syllabus J248, taught as Gateway Science). GCSE (as distinct from IGCSE) is offered by AQA and OCR only in the Marlbridge offering.
Are Marlbridge's Chemistry study guides free to use?
Yes. Study material on Marlbridge is free to read for anyone preparing for an exam, and free for schools and teachers to use with their classes — no licence, account or attribution required.
